Behind the scenes of a successful integration: Sequal x Meanquest, 2 years on!
Two years ago, Meanquest made the strategic but above all human decision to acquire Sequal, a young Swiss start-up specializing in cybersecurity.
Meanquest achieves the Responsible Digital Label – Level 1: a new milestone in our CSR approach
Digital technology is a powerful lever for innovation and performance, but it also represents a major environmental, social, and societal challenge. Convinced that digital services companies (DSCs) have an essential role to play in this transformation, Meanquest continues its commitment to a more sustainable digital future.
We are proud to announce that we have achieved the Responsible Digital Label – Level 1, a recognition that acknowledges the actions already undertaken within the company and encourages us to go even further in a continuous improvement approach.
What is the Responsible Digital Label?
Backed by the Lucie agency, the Responsible Digital (NR) Label helps structure a company’s approach, have its existing practices assessed, and showcase the commitments made. Ultimately, it guarantees the seriousness of a responsible digital initiative.
The framework is particularly demanding for digital services companies, as it covers 17 action principles spanning governance, infrastructure, data, procurement, digital services, skills, and client relations.
An approach that builds on our existing commitments
Achieving the NR Label fits naturally into Meanquest’s sustainable development and CSR strategy. Following the EcoEntreprise certification obtained in 2025, this new recognition reinforces our determination to integrate sustainable development issues across all our activities.
For several years now, we have been carrying out concrete actions in favor of a more responsible digital approach:
- responsible management of our equipment and IT infrastructure;
- data protection, notably through our ISO 27001 certification;
- development of the refurbishment and reuse of IT equipment;
- extending the lifespan of hardware;
- raising awareness among our employees and clients about responsible digital issues;
- building an ecosystem of partners committed to these issues.
The Label now provides us with a recognized framework to structure our initiatives, measure our maturity, and identify areas for progress.
The Level 1 Responsible Digital Label, a first step
To achieve Level 1 of the Responsible Digital Label, Meanquest put forward a dedicated project team and followed several steps:
- upskilling project teams through online training
- an independent audit assessing our practices against the NR framework
- defining an action plan with specific commitments
At the conclusion of this audit, Meanquest achieved a score well above the threshold required for Level 1 certification.
We are now better equipped to help our clients reduce the environmental impact of their IT systems.
The audit highlighted several strengths of our organization:
- the integration of Responsible Digital principles into our corporate strategy
- responsible management of equipment and infrastructure
- rigorous data management
- consideration of equipment lifecycle
Our commitments to go further
Following the audit, Meanquest made a number of formal commitments, including:
- more systematically integrating Responsible Digital principles into our commercial offerings to help guide our clients toward more sustainable IT infrastructures;
- strengthening our teams’ skills so they can incorporate Responsible Digital issues into their consulting work and client discussions
- further developing eco-design practices in our projects
- implementing tracking indicators to measure our progress over time.
These commitments reflect our determination to become an organization capable of helping our clients reduce the environmental footprint of their information systems.
« The NR Level 1 Label demonstrates that we are already applying Responsible Digital principles to our own operations. We must now go further and integrate these practices into our core business to guide our clients toward a more responsible and sustainable digital future »
